Product Description

HC-882 Single Component Acidic Curing Silicone Glass Glue is the ideal choice for bonding and sealing indoor and outdoor glass projects, including decorative caulking, cabinet bonding and sealing, installation of aluminum alloy glass doors and windows, and assembly and sealing of high-end showcases.

Applicable Materials: This versatile adhesive is suitable for bonding glass, ceramics, fiberglass, non-oily wood, aluminum profiles, and painted surfaces. Ensure that any aluminum alloy surfaces sprayed with powder are completely cleaned of surface coating wax using a solvent before application.

Usage Restrictions: Avoid using HC-882 on concrete or cement building materials, structural components, or substrates containing zinc, brass, copper, or lead. Do not expose the adhesive to continuous immersion in water or use it in environments completely isolated from air before curing. Additionally, HC-882 is not suitable for surfaces that require painting or for engineering applications that require the use of architectural-grade sealants.

APPLICATION
Apply to clean, dry and grease-free surfaces. Cut the nozzle at 45°angle to the desired shape and size. For better appearance, cover outside of joint areas with masking tape before application.  Tool immediately after sealant application and remove masking tape before sealant skins.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND APPLICATION SCENARIOS
CAUTION
Uncured silicone can irritate eyes and skin. If contact is made with eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Use in well ventilated area and keep out of reach for children.

LIMITATIONS
1.Unsuitable for curtain wall structural applicatio
2.Do not use for below ground.
3.Do not use when substrate temperature is above 50ºC or surfaces that are wet, oily, greasy, dusty or       dirty.
4.The surfaces coated with paint are unsuitable for sealant.
5.Do not clean or treat the sealant with materials, solvents or cleaning agents that may affect or discolor     the sealant, particularly during sealant cure.
