Product Description

QMS-988 single component.
Acidic curing silicone glass glue, suitable for large glass, advanced glass projects, lighting ceilings, installation of various aluminum alloy glass doors and windows, large window assembly and sealing projects.

Applicable materials:
Glass, ceramics, fiberglass, non-oily wood, aluminum profiles, painted material surfaces, etc., the aluminum alloy sprayed with powder must be completely removed with a solvent to remove the surface coating wax before it can be used.

Use restrictions:
Not suitable for applications such as concrete or cement building materials, structural components, substrates containing zinc, brass, copper, lead, etc., continuous immersion in water or scenes that are completely isolated from air before curing, surfaces that require painting or must be used Engineering with architectural grade sealants.

APPLICATION
Apply to clean, dry and grease-free surfaces. Cut the nozzle at 45°angle to the desired shape and size. For better appearance, cover outside of joint areas with masking tape before application.  Tool immediately after sealant application and remove masking tape before sealant skins.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND APPLICATION SCENARIOS

CAUTION
Uncured silicone can irritate eyes and skin. If contact is made with eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Use in well ventilated area and keep out of reach for children.

LIMITATIONS
1.Unsuitable for curtain wall structural applicatio
2.Do not use for below ground.
3.Do not use when substrate temperature is above 50ºC or surfaces that are wet, oily, greasy, dusty or       dirty.
4.The surfaces coated with paint are unsuitable for sealant.
5.Do not clean or treat the sealant with materials, solvents or cleaning agents that may affect or discolor     the sealant, particularly during sealant cure.
